Our second suite has a spacious seating area, loft windows with incredible mountain backdrops and a beautiful, antique styled bathroom with a claw footed tub.

Decorated in neutral tones, look out for the owners' collection of unusual West African sculptures.

The double bed, mirrors, wardrobes and armchairs and television are designed to make you feel as comfortable as in your own home.

A Victorian bathroom with a period claw-footed tub (and additional shower) allude to Franschhoek's charm.

 

The two wicker beds originated from Bali, collected during one of the owner's many travels. They can be arranged as twin or pushed together to form a double, if required.

ROOM FIVE | LUXURY DOUBLE

With a door leading from the traditional verandah, staying in this high-ceilinged room feels like stepping back in time.

Rest soundly in the gorgeous solid teak bed, luxuriate in the spacious marble shower, then fling open the pretty curtains to let in the morning's sunshine.

 

Enjoy the tropical picture hanging above the bed - it is by one of Kenya's leading whimsical artists, Mary Collis.

The twin beds can be arranged apart or pushed together to form a double, if required.
